Dear Adam,
After a few weeks of waiting till the machine was cleared through customs,
we got the new ultrasound machine yesterday.
Today we scanned the first patients, as you can see in the pictures. The
female patient you see on the picture is an example of why the machine is so
important. She came to the clinic and after asking the question: "are you
pregnant?" she said, I don't know. The pregnancy test was positive, and on
the ultrasound scan we found that she is 4 months pregnant of a healthy
baby, as far as we can tell. On the picture you can see the patients
amazement. 5 minutes ago she didn't even know she was pregnant, but now, she
could already see her baby kicking around.
