	Poverty Alleviation Projects November 2009 Update We performed 88 surgeries including cataract, eye muscle, pterygium (cornea) and eyelid. We saw 500 patients in our eye clinic and gave out 400 pairs of reading, distance, and sunglasses. We had a team of 26 doctors, nurses, and support staff working at Ricardo Limardo Public Hospital in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We are now soliciting donations for our 2011 trip.
	The $10 Club is a nonprofit corporation registered in the District of Columbia. Contributions are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
